Life Groups

When we all gather together each Sunday, it is a great time of celebration.  We worship together, listen to an awesome message, God shows up and great things happen.  There is really nothing like coming to church on Sundays.

However, there are some things that we simply cannot do at our Sunday services.  For example, it is too difficult to know everyone, much less fellowship with everyone.  And, what if you have a question about Sunday’s message or didn’t quite understand something about it?  That is why at New Life Fellowship we place a great importance on Life Groups.

COVID Update:

Due to taking necessary precautions, we are currently having VIRTUAL Life Groups that meet via Zoom, Facetime, and multiple video chat platforms.

Why Join a Life Group?

Life Groups build relationships.
One of the greatest needs among people is the need to belong- a need for companionship and acceptance.  That’s exactly what happens in a Life Group.  People find relationships; healthy relationships that help you grow, thrive, and feel a sense of belonging.

Life Groups help keep you accountable and provide personal support.
There is nothing like a small group setting that gives you the opportunity for accountability. The Bible says, “Encourage one another daily … so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness” (Heb 3:13). All of us go through the ups and downs of life and need someone to encourage us and help us get through it.

Life Groups help you study the Word.
Life Groups allow you to discuss what was preached on Sunday.  You can ask questions, get more in depth, and better understand what was taught.

Life Groups help you use your gifts and talents.
God has given each and every one of us a gift. “A spiritual gift is given to each of us as a means of helping the entire church” (1 Cor. 12:7). You’ll never grow just by attending Sunday services and being a spectator.  In a Life Group, you can discover, develop, and use your gifts and talents.
